Daily quests, Activity Points and daily login

Quick answer: finish quests and claim each one to fill your Activity Points (AP). AP chests open at 20, 50, 90, 140 and 200 AP. Log in and claim the daily login reward every day to keep the 30-day calendar going. AP and the Daily tab reset at 00:00 UTC.

The quest tabs

Open Quest. You see five tabs:

Tab	What it is
Daily Quest	Today’s tasks. Each finished and claimed task adds Activity Points. The Daily Login calendar is opened from here.
Guild Quest	A rotating set of guild tasks. You need a guild first (“Join a guild to unlock”).
Admin Quest	A rotating set of short tasks.
Exclusive Quest	Longer goals. When you finish one, a new one appears. When all are done you see “All Exclusive Quests Completed!”.
VIP Quests	Free daily VIP chests. See VIP.

Guild Quest and Admin Quest show a lock until your castle is level 5. Before that, the game does not create these quests for you.

A red number on a tab means you have quests ready to claim.

Activity Points (AP) and the five chests

Each day the game gives you a set of Daily quests that adds up to 200 AP.
A quest only gives AP when you claim it. Finishing it is not enough. Tap Claim on the quest (or Claim All).
When your AP reaches a milestone, that chest becomes ready. Tap Open to get your reward.

Each chest gives one reward, picked at random when you open it:

20 AP, Bronze Chest: Food 30,000, Wood 10,000, Stone 7,000, Ore 7,000, Gold 3,000, Speed Up 5m, Stars 5-15, Ethereon 1-3, Labyrinth chest shard.
50 AP, Silver Chest: Stars 10-30, Food 150,000, Wood 50,000, Stone 50,000, Ore 50,000, Gold 15,000, Speed Up 10m or 15m, Ethereon 3-8.
90 AP, Gold Chest: Stars 20-60, Food, Wood, Stone and Ore 500,000 each (one of them), Gold 50,000, Speed Up 30m or 60m, Ethereon 8-15, Labyrinth chest shard.
140 AP, Mythic Chest: Stars 50-150, Food 2,000,000 or Wood, Stone, Ore 5,000,000, Gold 200,000, Speed Up 3h or 8h, Ethereon 15-30, Labyrinth Elite chest shard.
200 AP, Royal Chest: Stars 100-300, Food 6,000,000 or Wood, Stone, Ore 10,000,000, Gold 600,000, Speed Up 15h or 24h, Ethereon 30-60, Labyrinth Elite chest.

Where the rewards go:

Resource rewards (for example “Food 30,000”) and Speed Ups are items in your Bag. They are not added to your balance until you use them. Open Bag and use the item.
Ethereon goes straight to your balance.
Stars and Labyrinth shards or chests also arrive in your Bag.

If a chest seems to have given nothing, check your Bag first.

The in-game “About Activity Points” text says 100 points per milestone. The real thresholds are the five above.

When does it reset?

AP, the five chests and the Daily quest list reset at 00:00 UTC (the tab shows “Resets at 00:00 UTC” and a countdown). The reset runs when you log in or open the quest board after midnight UTC.

Quests you finished but did not claim before the reset cannot be claimed afterwards.
Chests you did not open before the reset are gone.

Claim and open everything before the countdown ends.

Gems from quests

Each Daily quest pays 5 or 10 Gems when you claim it, together with Activity Points and a few other small rewards shown on the quest card. Gems go straight to your balance. The five chests above give no Gems.

The number of Gems a day is small because it is the sum of the quests on your Daily tab. Events can pay more Gems; see Events.

Gather quests

Gather 1 Food / Wood / Stone / Ore quests need one gather of that resource. Stone and Ore quests appear from Castle level 2.
The big gather quests (200,000 Food or Wood, 150,000 Stone, 100,000 Ore) add up what you gather. They appear from Castle level 4.
Gather quests count resources you collect from the map. The quest card shows your progress.

Admin and Guild quests: how many and how often

You get 4 Admin quests and 4 Guild quests at VIP 0. VIP raises this up to 12 each (see the table in VIP).
The set is replaced in 4-hour blocks. The game builds the new set when you log in during a new block, so the list can stay the same while you are offline.

The calendar has 30 days. Open it from the Daily Quest tab (Daily Login). Tap Claim Reward to collect today’s reward.

Claim every day. If you log in on the next day without having claimed yesterday’s reward, the calendar goes back to Day 1.
Do not skip a day. Missing a whole day also sends you back to Day 1.
After Day 30, the calendar starts again at Day 1.
If you have several days waiting, one claim collects all of them.
Food, Stone, Wood, Ore and Gold go straight to your balance.

If something goes wrong

A quest is done but will not claim. Check the countdown. If the day changed at 00:00 UTC, yesterday’s quests cannot be claimed. Close and reopen the game, then check today’s list.
My progress did not count. Each quest says what it needs. Some need a specific action (for example upgrading a building or training troops). Do the action again after the quest appears, and check the quest shows progress.
AP is lower than I expected. AP only counts after you claim the quest.
Daily login went back to Day 1. This happens if you missed a day or logged in the next day without claiming. It cannot be rewound from the game.
A chest reward is missing. Open your Bag first: resource rewards, Speed Ups, Stars and Labyrinth shards or chests from AP chests are stored there as items. Only Ethereon goes straight to your balance.
