Heroes in battle - troops led, bonuses, skill damage and HP
此内容尚不支持你的语言。
Quick answer: a hero helps in two ways. Its battle skills give attack, defense or HP bonuses to every matching soldier of yours in the march, however many you send. And it leads some of your troops (1,000 to 5,000 at level 1, by grade) and adds its own skill damage with them. Your army leader counts double for bonuses, triple for skill damage and 1.5× for troops led and HP. Grade and level make all of this bigger; rank unlocks skills.
Which heroes fight
Section titled “Which heroes fight”- The heroes you pick on the Deploy screen go with that march. Your Castle decides how many: 1 hero at Castle 1-4, 2 at 5-8, 3 at 9-12, 4 at 13-16, 5 from Castle 17.
- Heroes stationed in your castle defend it.
- A hero that is wounded heavily, dead, captured or sheltered does not fight. A lightly wounded hero fights with 10% lower bonuses, troops led and skill damage.
- Each hero also adds 2% to 10% to your march size on attacks (see How many troops can I send?).
Grades in battle
Section titled “Grades in battle”In battle the seven grades fall into four groups:
| Grade | Troops led at level 1 | Grade damage ratio | Hero base HP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common, Uncommon | 1,000 | 0.25 | 1,000 |
| Rare | 2,000 | 0.50 | 2,000 |
| Epic | 3,500 | 0.75 | 3,500 |
| Legendary, Mythic, Tempered | 5,000 | 1.00 | 5,000 |
Way 1: bonuses for your army
Section titled “Way 1: bonuses for your army”Each unlocked battle skill gives a % bonus to Attack, Defense or HP for one troop type or for all troops.
- The bonus covers every matching soldier of yours in the march, not only the troops the hero leads (“Every matching soldier in a march with this hero gets this bonus, however many you send”).
- Hero level adds 1% per level above 1 to each bonus: × (1 + 0.01 × (level − 1)).
- Your army leader doubles the bonuses (× 2).
- A hero’s own Troop Type matters: its type bonuses apply to troops of that type only.
- Hero bonuses multiply on top of your other bonuses: troop stat × (1 + your VIP, War Chest, research and other bonuses) × (1 + hero bonuses). See Boosts and how they stack.
The hero screen shows the result under Bonus for your army, already with the level and leader bonuses.
Way 2: troops led and skill damage
Section titled “Way 2: troops led and skill damage”Troops led (“Leads N troops”):
troops led = grade base × (1 + 0.05 × (level − 1)) × 1.5 if army leader
The hero takes troops of its own type first, then other types, up to that number. Sending more troops is fine: “the extra ones fight normally”.
Every round the hero adds damage through the troops it leads:
hero damage = troops led × their attack × (skill damage + grade damage ratio) × 1 for its own type, × 0.5 for other types
- Skill damage comes from the hero’s damage skills: each skill’s value × (1 + 0.02 × (level − 1)), × 3 for the army leader.
- The hero’s extra damage in one hit is capped at the total HP of the troop group that is attacking.
- Morale changes hero damage the same way as troop damage (70% to 105%).
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”An Epic Infantry hero at level 10, not your leader:
- Troops led: 3,500 × (1 + 0.05 × 9) = 5,075 infantry. As army leader: 5,075 × 1.5 = 7,612.
- Army bonus: a skill that shows +10% infantry attack gives 10% × 1.09 = +10.9%. As leader: +21.8%.
- Skill damage: with no damage skill, the hero still adds the Epic ratio 0.75. Each round it adds 5,075 × infantry attack × 0.75 on top of what those infantry deal by themselves.
Hero HP and wounds
Section titled “Hero HP and wounds”- A hero has its own HP. It does not add to your troops’ HP. Troops get more HP only from HP bonuses (skills, VIP, War Chest…).
- Hero HP = grade base HP × (1 + 0.05 × (level − 1)) × 1.5 for the army leader, plus half of its troops led × the HP of one of its troops.
- Heroes take 10% of the damage that lands on their side’s troops, and more when their troops are wiped out.
- A hero dying lowers its army’s morale by 8 (20 for the army leader).
Captains, rallies and defense
Section titled “Captains, rallies and defense”- In a rally or a castle defense with several players, the heroes of the army’s owner (the rally captain or the castle owner) boost every troop in the combined army.
- Other players’ heroes boost only their own troops.
- Bonuses from Workshop gear on your leader hero count only for your own troops, and only while that leader can fight.
What grade, level, rank and trophies change
Section titled “What grade, level, rank and trophies change”| What it changes in battle | |
|---|---|
| Grade | Skill strength (each skill’s value is set by grade), troops led, grade damage ratio, hero HP |
| Level | +5% troops led, +1% army bonuses, +2% skill damage and +5% HP per level above 1 |
| Rank | Unlocks battle skills (a locked skill shows “Unlocks at rank N”) |
| Trophies | Needed to raise rank. They add to the hero’s own stats on its screen, but a fight uses skills, grade and level, not those stats. See Trophies. |
| Army leader | × 2 army bonuses, × 3 skill damage, × 1.5 troops led and HP, turns on its gear |
Heroes have no star system.
Trophy boosts do reach the hero’s stat sheet (Attack, HP, Defense and the like), but the fight itself does not read that sheet. Only monster hunts price a hero from it, and monster hunts are not open in the game.
Economy skills
Section titled “Economy skills”Skills for research, building, training or healing speed, production, upkeep or training cost work outside battle. The skills of every hero you own add up, whether the hero is deployed or not.
- A skill only counts once it is unlocked (a locked skill shows “Unlocks at rank N”). Research Speed skills follow the same rule.
- A hero you send out, burn or no longer own stops counting.
- The time of a research or an upgrade is worked out when you start it. A bonus you gain later does not change one that is already running. See Why did my research time increase?.
- The two Ethereon skills, Ethereon Shard Economizer and Ethereon Speed Shift, work differently. For each of them only your 3 strongest heroes count, and the total cut is capped at 50%.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- “My hero’s bonus is not doing anything.” Check the skill is unlocked (rank), the hero is in this march, and the hero’s troop type matches the troops you sent.
- “My hero leads fewer troops than I sent.” That is normal: troops led is a cap for the hero’s own damage. All your troops still fight and all matching troops still get its bonuses.
