Quick answer: open the Guild screen, tap Join a Guild to find one, or Create a Guild once your Castle is level 3. Creating a Standard Guild is free. You can be in one guild at a time.

  1. Open the Guild screen and choose Join a Guild.
  2. Search by name or tag (Enter guild name or tag), or browse the list.
  3. Tap Join or Apply to Join. What you see depends on the guild’s recruitment method:
    • Auto (Public): you join at once, if your Might is at or above the guild’s minimum. Below it, you are refused.
    • Restricted (Private): your request shows as Applied. The guild leader or an officer (Rank 4 or 5) gets a notification and can Accept or Deny it.

Rules:

  • A guild holds up to 100 members. When it is full, nobody can join or be accepted until someone leaves.
  • When you join a guild, your other pending applications are canceled.
  • One pending application per guild. You cannot apply to a guild while you are in another one.
  • The limit is checked at the moment someone joins or is accepted, so two players cannot take the last place together. A guild showing more than 100 members does not come from joining under these rules: send a ticket with the guild name and the time.
  • Join a Guild lists guilds. Search by name or tag with Enter guild name or tag.
  • The leader (Rank 5) sets the Recruitment Method and the minimum Might in Manage. Officers (Rank 4 or 5) accept or deny applications.
  • Players find your guild through this list and its search, so the name and tag are what they see first.
  1. Make sure your Castle is level 3 or higher. Below that, the screen shows Castle level 3 required.
  2. Choose Create a Guild.
  3. Fill in the form:
    • Guild Name (required): 3 to 50 characters. Letters, numbers, spaces and some symbols. No emoji.
    • Guild Tag (required): up to 4 characters.
    • Slogan (optional) and Logo.
  4. Confirm. Name and tag must not already be used by another guild.

You become the Guild Leader (Rank 5). Standard Guilds have no creation or joining fee. Golden Guilds cannot be created right now.

  • Rank 1-2: member. Chat, send and receive Help, use the Diplomacy Board. Cannot manage members.
  • Rank 3: can change the rank of members below their own, up to one rank below theirs.
  • Rank 4 (officer): accept or deny applications, kick members of lower rank, promote or demote lower ranks, edit the slogan and announcement, delete Diplomacy Board posts for their guild.
  • Rank 5 (leader): everything above, plus rename the guild, change the logo, the recruitment method and minimum Might, transfer leadership and disband.

You cannot change your own rank, and nobody can change or kick a member whose rank is equal to or higher than theirs.

New members start at Rank 1. Use Promote and Demote on a member in the Member List.

Guild Help shortens building and research timers, and helps with converting Ethereon.

  • Use Help me on an upgrade or research that is running. Each task can ask for help once.
  • Guildmates open the Guild Assist list and tap Send Help (or Help all). Each help cuts the remaining time of that task by 1%.
  • The number of helps a task can receive depends on the requester’s Embassy level: 5 helps at level 1, up to 19 at level 30. Without an Embassy your requests get no helps. The Embassy unlocks at Castle 10.
  • Helping earns Guild Coin. There is a daily cap (Daily cap reached) and you can spend coin in the Guild Shop tab.

Note: the in-game Help Rules window says “up to 10 helps”. The Embassy level is what sets the real limit.

  • Only some tasks can ask for help: Upgrade Building, Research and Convert Ethereon. Other timers, such as training troops, have no Help me button.
  • One request per task, for good. A second try shows “You have already requested guild help.” There is no daily reset for requests, and a request you made in a guild you have since left still counts. The “Help Rules” text about assists resetting does not apply to requests.
  • “There is no available guild help at the moment.” The task has no helps left, because the Embassy limit above is used up or you have no Embassy, or the task is already finished.
  • You can help each task once. You cannot help your own task, and a task you already helped does not show again.
  • “User requesting help is not in the same guild.” You and the requester are not in the same guild right now.
  • “The user is not a member of any guild.” Join a guild first.
  • “This account is inactive and can’t be used right now.” A banned or inactive account cannot send help. This covers Help all and the Help button in Telegram notifications.

Chat has a Guild tab that only your guild sees. Messages can be up to 512 characters.

What guildmates see about you, and how to find them

Section titled “What guildmates see about you, and how to find them”

Guildmates see your in-game name, avatar, rank, Power, Killed and Last online in the Member List. The Member List does not include your email, phone number, Telegram ID or sign-in ID. A Telegram account starts with its Telegram first and last name as the in-game name.

Tapping a member opens their profile. Another player’s profile does not show castle coordinates. To let guildmates find your castle, open your own profile and use the share-location button, then choose Send to Guild chat.

Every guild has a public Diplomacy Board: a message board where other guilds (and any player, even without a guild) can leave a message, for example to propose peace or a trade.

  1. Open a guild’s page and choose Diplomacy Board.
  2. Type in Leave a message for this guild and tap Send. If you are in a guild, the post shows as “Posting as [TAG] Name”.
  3. Posts are limited to 512 characters, and you can post once every 2 seconds.

Only officers and the leader (Rank 4 or 5) of the guild that owns the board can Delete posts.

Who can see it: everyone. A board is public, so any player can open and read it, whether or not they are in that guild. Do not post anything private. Each post shows who wrote it, with their guild tag if they have one. Translate shows a post in your language.

  • Leave Guild (Manage). You cannot leave while you hold a fortress, or while one of your armies is in a rally battle.
  • Transfer Leadership (leader only). Choose a member and confirm. You become Rank 4.
  • If the leader leaves, leadership goes automatically to the highest-ranked member (most Might breaks ties). If the guild has no other member, it is deleted. A leader who holds the fortress Overlord title cannot leave.
  • Disband Guild (leader only). All members are removed and all guild information is erased for good. You cannot disband while the guild holds a fortress or any member is in a rally battle.
  • Kick Member: officers and leader can remove members of lower rank.
  • Getting the leader role back: the game cannot undo a transfer. After Transfer Leadership you are Rank 4, and a Rank 4 officer cannot promote themselves or kick a Rank 5. Only the new leader can hand leadership back, with Transfer Leadership. A ticket does not guarantee that support will change a guild’s leader.

Players who stay offline for 30 days or more (slightly longer if the castle sits in a development zone) lose their castle’s place on the map and are removed from their guild. A leader who is that inactive hands the guild to the most active member first.

  • “Castle level 3 required”: upgrade your Castle to level 3. See Castle and buildings.
  • You cannot join: the guild may be full, set to Auto with a Might minimum you do not meet, or you may already be in another guild. Try another guild or ask an officer to accept your application.
  • You cannot leave or disband: finish or recall your rally army, and check whether you or the guild hold a fortress. See Fortress.
  • Your name, tag or guild looks wrong, or you were removed without a reason: open a ticket from Setting → More → Support. Include your player name, the guild name and the time. See Contact support.
