Battle reports and lost troops

Este conteúdo não está disponível em sua língua ainda.

Every fight sends you a report in your mail. The report tells you who won, how many troops each side had, how many of yours were wounded, dead or survived, and what you gained or lost.

Open Mail and choose Reports (Chat and mail). Tap a report to open the Battle Report. In the list you can Select All, Mark as Read or Delete the selected reports.

Only you can open your own reports. A report appears after the battle is resolved. An army that is still walking has not fought yet.

The result on each report is one of: Win, Lose, Draw, Failed, Kicked out, Canceled, Expired, Relocated, Captured Fort, or Army returned.

Tap the i button on the report to open “How to read this report”. The main parts:

  • Battle at (location): where the fight happened. Battle ID is at the bottom; Copy battle ID copies it.
  • My Army / Enemy Army: the troops each side brought, with heroes. Enemy details can be hidden (“Troop details are hidden”).
  • Comparison: Attacker and Defender, Army Size, and Wounded + Dead (total losses).
  • Wounded / Dead / Survived: what happened to your troops (see below).
  • Wall HP, Wall Traps, Defense Buildings: shown when walls and traps took part. “Wall Not Breached” means the attackers did not get through the wall.
  • Rewards: stolen resources (for example “You have stolen 1,000 Food”) and any USD loot lines.
  • Rallies show Attack Coalition and Defense Coalition and a Detail Report Coalition with every member.
  • Wounded troops go to your Infirmary and can be healed. See Troops, training and healing.
  • Dead troops are gone for good.
  • Wounded troops only fit up to the Infirmary capacity. Losses beyond it die permanently. The report says it plainly: “casualties beyond its capacity die permanently”.
  • Survived troops march home.

By default the game turns about 60% of an attacker’s losses into wounded troops and the rest are dead, while all of a defender’s losses become wounded, as long as the Infirmary has room. That is why attackers often see more dead than defenders.

  • Troop counters decide losses. Infantry beats Ranged, Ranged beats Cavalry, Cavalry beats Infantry. The stronger matchup deals double damage and the weaker deals half. A bigger army of the wrong type can lose to a smaller one. Scout first.
  • Siege Engines hurt walls, not troops. An army of mostly Siege Engines does very little damage to troops.
  • No report details: “Failed! A survivor is needed for a Battle Report”. If none of your soldiers survive, there is nobody to report back, so parts of the report are hidden.
  • “Your army returned without fighting”. The target is protected by Might limits (it is much weaker than you). The report shows both Might values. No battle took place and no troops were lost.
  • “… just activated their shield. Let’s switch targets.” The target raised a shield before you arrived. See Shield.
  • “Defeat: your army could not breach the enemy wall.” The attackers did not get through the wall. Check Wall HP and Wall Traps on the report.
  • Garrison fights. A fight can have a first stage against a garrison (“Stopped by the Garrison, short of the wall”, “The Garrison was wiped out”, “The Garrison held the attack”).
  • Soldier totals look approximate. “Total Soldiers: ~N” is an estimate on the report, not an exact count.
  • USD loot. Loot comes from the loser’s exposed pool and has protections (new ruler protection, Might gap, 24-hour cooldown, Might ratio). See USDT battle loot.
  1. Open the report and tap Copy battle ID.
  2. Check that the Infirmary has room and that you have healed your wounded troops. Troops “missing” from the army screen are usually wounded, healing, or away on a march.
  3. If you believe a result or a loss is wrong, open a ticket from Setting → More → Support (Contact support). Include the Battle ID, the time, and what you expected. Support cannot promise a change before checking the battle.
