Quick answer: short answers to common questions about the world map, gathering and moving your castle; each links to the full page.
Gathering
Section titled “Gathering”Why can’t I gather resources?
Section titled “Why can’t I gather resources?”Look at what the game tells you. Gather is greyed out when you are viewing another kingdom or the tile sits in a Stronghold that is closed to you. If your castle is in War City and the tile is inside a lower zone, you get error 16181. Pick a tile in War City.
If you see “Too many attempts. Wait a moment and try again.” or “Confirm you are playing to continue.”, the game is pacing your gather requests: see Gathering pauses. If Gather looks active but nothing happens, close and reopen the game. The full list of messages is in Gathering resources and error 16181.
What do errors 16169 and 16189 mean when I gather?
Section titled “What do errors 16169 and 16189 mean when I gather?”16169 reads “Region rules couldn’t be loaded. Military actions remain unavailable until the rules refresh.” Wait a minute, reopen the map and try again. 16189 reads “Some selected heroes can’t join this hunt.” It belongs to monster hunting, not gathering. If you see it while gathering, open a ticket with a screenshot, the tile coordinates and the time.
How do I find resource tiles on the map?
Section titled “How do I find resource tiles on the map?”Zoom and pan around your castle and tap the resource icons. Each tile shows its type, level and Mine remaining. The magnifier (Search for location) takes an address or coordinates like X:101.22 Y:1.33, so it cannot list resource tiles. See How to gather.
Can more resource tiles be added or made to spawn faster?
Section titled “Can more resource tiles be added or made to spawn faster?”You cannot request this. The map is refilled every 5 minutes. Tiles are denser toward the middle of a kingdom and thinner toward the edge. In a Development Zone the number of tiles follows how many castles live there, about one tile for every four castles, up to 8 per square kilometre. A free tile that nobody has gathered from for 6 hours disappears, and the refill adds new ones. See Gathering.
Can weaker players be protected while they gather?
Section titled “Can weaker players be protected while they gather?”Not by a Might gap. The Might ratio protection is switched off, so a big Might difference does not stop an attack on a tile you hold. Region rules still apply: you can only be hit by lords the rules allow, and New Settlement blocks hostile player actions. See Development Zones.
Why is gathering so slow even with speed bonuses?
Section titled “Why is gathering so slow even with speed bonuses?”Gear bonuses to gathering speed only count when your leader hero goes with that march and is Ready or Guarding the Wall when you send it. The speed is fixed when you send the march. Add the leader to the march, then check the time shown in the tile panel. See Gear and trophy bonuses.
Why didn’t my gathered resources arrive after my troops came home?
Section titled “Why didn’t my gathered resources arrive after my troops came home?”Resources arrive with the army when it gets home, and the Resource Report mail shows what you gathered. The amount is what you received after any kingdom tax (see Is there a tax on gathering resources?).
Bonus drops are listed next to it, for example a Workshop material shown as “x1”. That is a material for the Workshop, not Wood or Stone, so your Wood stock does not rise by it.
If another lord attacks your army on the tile and you lose, the winner takes what you had gathered, and surviving troops return with nothing. If the army is home and the Resource Report says you gathered but your stock did not rise, open a ticket with the mail screenshot and the time.
How do I choose a kingdom to gather in?
Section titled “How do I choose a kingdom to gather in?”You pick your starting kingdom on the Select Kingdom screen when you start playing (“Are you sure you want to choose this Kingdom?”). After that you gather and attack in your own kingdom.
When you look at another kingdom with Select Kingdom on the map, Gather, Attack and Scout are greyed out, and attacks, scouting and rallies against Fortresses only work inside your own kingdom. Tap Exit to come back. To live in another kingdom, you migrate there. See Move to another kingdom.
Is there a tax on gathering resources?
Section titled “Is there a tax on gathering resources?”Sometimes. The guild that holds the Royal Citadel in your kingdom has an Overlord, and the Overlord sets a tax rate on resources gathered across the kingdom. The tax comes off the load your army brings home, so you receive less than the bag held. The tile panel and your Resource Report show “After -X% Tax”. Members of the guild that holds the Royal Citadel pay none.
The rate is picked from fixed choices (Singapore and Jakarta offer 2%, 3%, 5%, 8% and 10%) and starts at 0%, so with no tax set you keep everything. The Overlord can change it, and every lord in the kingdom gets a mail when it changes. See Fortress.
Can the gathering pause be shorter for people who play by hand?
Section titled “Can the gathering pause be shorter for people who play by hand?”No. The limits are the same for every account, and you cannot skip or shorten the pause from the game. It only starts after you solve more than 48 “Confirm you are playing” checks in 24 hours, far more than normal play, and it stops only gathering and hunting for 60 minutes. Everything else keeps working and nothing is taken from your castle. See Gathering pauses.
Is there a way to farm unlimited materials from gathering?
Section titled “Is there a way to farm unlimited materials from gathering?”Not from gathering. Bonus drops are limited per player per day, reset at 00:00 UTC: 3 hero shards, 2 blueprints and 15 gear materials. After a limit is reached, further drops that day are lost, however many marches you send. If you think a tile or button gives more than this, open a ticket with the steps. See Bonus drops.
What is the TOKEN2049 mine, and what can I get from it?
Section titled “What is the TOKEN2049 mine, and what can I get from it?”A TOKEN2049 mine is a special resource tile for the TOKEN2049 event, until 11 Oct 2026, 16:00 UTC. Its tile panel shows a TOKEN2049 Mine banner. About 40 of these Level 3-5 tiles appear in each of Singapore, Jakarta and Kyoto, and each holds about 20 minutes of gathering at the base speed.
Gather them like any tile. The banner says every 1,000 resources = 10 gems, up to 5,000 gems a day, and View event opens the event, where every completed gather from these mines scores. Free TOKEN2049 tiles are removed after the event ends. See Gathering.
Why can a shielded lord and another lord both seem to gather the same tile?
Section titled “Why can a shielded lord and another lord both seem to gather the same tile?”A tile has one holder at a time. When an army reaches a tile that another lord took first, a lord with an active Shield is sent home with a mail, and a lord without a Shield fights the holder (see Occupied, empty and Stronghold tiles). The game has no way for two lords to hold one tile. If you saw two lords on one tile, open a ticket with the tile coordinates, the time and a screenshot.
Why won’t my gathering troops come home after an error?
Section titled “Why won’t my gathering troops come home after an error?”Open the tile on the map: when the bag should already be full, opening it sends the army home. You can also tap Return to Castle in the tile panel.
“Army must be mining to return.” means the army is not mining right now, so it is still walking there or already walking home. “Your army can’t be recalled right now.” means try again shortly. If the army still shows out well after its walking time, open a ticket with the tile coordinates, the time and a screenshot of your armies.
Will I be compensated for missed gathering?
Section titled “Will I be compensated for missed gathering?”A gather that fails, is cancelled or is paused takes nothing from your castle, troops or resources: the troops walk home and your stock stays as it was. The game has no make-up for gathering time you missed, and we cannot promise compensation. If troops or resources are really missing, open a ticket from Setting → More → Support with a screenshot and the time.
Bonus drops
Section titled “Bonus drops”Why am I not getting equipment materials from gathering?
Section titled “Why am I not getting equipment materials from gathering?”Bonus drops are random and need enough gathered. A march must gather at least 3,000 to get any roll, and you get about one roll for every 1.1 million gathered, up to 20 rolls per march. Gold tiles never drop gear materials. You also have daily limits per player, reset at 00:00 UTC: 3 hero shards, 2 blueprints and 15 gear materials. Once a limit is reached, further drops that day are lost. See Bonus drops.
What are the drop rates, and does tile level matter?
Section titled “What are the drop rates, and does tile level matter?”Tile level matters a lot. Each roll uses the chances below, which the team can change. They were checked on 2026-10-09.
| Tile level | Gear material | Hero shard | Blueprint |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 20% | 6.5% | 1.5% |
| 2 | 32% | 10.4% | 2.4% |
| 3 | 48% | 15.6% | 3.6% |
| 4 | 72% | 23.4% | 5.4% |
| 5 | 100% | 32.5% | 7.5% |
The number of rolls is the amount you gathered divided by 1.1 million. A leftover fraction is a chance for one more roll, so 550,000 gives a 50% chance of one roll. Castle Level 10 or lower multiplies it by 11, fading to no boost at Level 18. Emptying a whole tile adds up to 50% more, and gathering for 30 minutes to 3 hours adds up to 50% more.
Can the drop rates or daily limits be raised?
Section titled “Can the drop rates or daily limits be raised?”No. The daily limits are game settings, not tied to your account, and nothing you own raises them. You can get more drops by gathering more per march, on higher level tiles, and while your castle is at Level 10 or lower.
What are Oak, Pine, Ironwood, Herb and Iron Ore used for?
Section titled “What are Oak, Pine, Ironwood, Herb and Iron Ore used for?”They are Workshop materials. The Workshop forges hero equipment from the materials you collect. The kind you get depends on the tile: Food tiles give Grain, Spice or Herb, Stone tiles give Granite, Marble or Obsidian, Wood tiles give Oak, Pine or Ironwood, and Ore tiles give Iron Ore, Copper Ore or Mythril Ore. Only the two lowest grades drop from gathering. See Buildings reference.
Regions and your castle
Section titled “Regions and your castle”Why was my account moved to a different region?
Section titled “Why was my account moved to a different region?”Regions follow your Highest Might, the highest total Might you ever reached. When it passes the limit of your region, the game starts your graduation to the next one by itself. The limits are 35,000, 150,000 and 250,000, and above 250,000 you belong in War City. Graduation is one-way, so a later drop in Might does not move you back. See Graduation.
Why was my castle moved out of my zone after an upgrade?
Section titled “Why was my castle moved out of my zone after an upgrade?”Yes, in a kingdom that has Development Zones. Anything that raises your Might can push your Highest Might over a limit, and then your castle graduates by itself. An upgrade that takes you above 250,000 moves you to War City. Your armies must be home before the move. Raising your Might inside your region’s limits does not move your castle. Kingdoms without zones, like Kyoto, never move you. See Development Zones.
Why can’t I move my castle to a higher zone even though my Might is high enough?
Section titled “Why can’t I move my castle to a higher zone even though my Might is high enough?”Moving a castle has no Might requirement. A normal relocation must stay inside your own region, and spots outside the highlighted border are disabled. You move up only through graduation, when your Highest Might passes your region’s limit. See Why the Transport button is greyed out or refuses.
How does Growth Province work?
Section titled “How does Growth Province work?”Growth Province is the second region, for a Highest Might of 35,001 to 150,000. Attacks, scouting and rallies are allowed only against castles in the same province. Attacks, aid and supply cannot cross into other regions. See Development Zones.
Why is my castle not showing on the map?
Section titled “Why is my castle not showing on the map?”Check these in order: you may be looking at another kingdom, so tap Exit. Check your Mail for a move message with your new coordinates.
A castle whose owner stayed offline for 30 days, plus 5 days for each Development Zone tier, is taken off the map. The castle of a banned account is taken off the map too, and it stays off while the ban lasts. If the ban is lifted, the castle comes back at a new spot when the owner opens the game. Then close and reopen the game. See If your castle is not on the map.
What is “Chapter II”, and when does it start?
Section titled “What is “Chapter II”, and when does it start?”The game does not show anything called Chapter II, so it has no description or date to check there. The systems it is linked to are already in the game: Development Zones (your region follows your Highest Might) and guild fortresses. Pages here do not promise dates; watch the official channels listed in Which links and accounts are official?.
Moving your castle
Section titled “Moving your castle”What happens to guild reinforcements in my castle when I move?
Section titled “What happens to guild reinforcements in my castle when I move?”They go home. Reinforcements already stationed in your castle are sent back to their owners, and those still marching to you are recalled. Allied troops in your Garrison Tent are sent back too. They walk home like any returning army, and they never block your move. Your own marches do: see the next question. See Rules for migrating.
Why can’t I relocate when it says my army is marching but I see none?
Section titled “Why can’t I relocate when it says my army is marching but I see none?”Error “Relocation requires all armies at home.” counts your own armies that are marching out or returning, including gatherers and rally contingents still on the road. A return counts until it lands; one due within a few seconds is settled when you tap. Wait until they are home, or recall them. A rally you started blocks the move as well (“Cannot relocate during a rally battle”).
Armies that are parked do not block a move inside your kingdom: a gatherer that is mining, or troops stationed in a Fortress or in a guildmate’s castle. If every army is home and the message stays, open a ticket with a screenshot of your armies and the time. See Marches and rallies.
Why can’t I teleport or migrate while my troops are in a Fortress?
Section titled “Why can’t I teleport or migrate while my troops are in a Fortress?”Troops stationed in a Fortress do not block Transportation or Random Relocate. Troops still marching to the Fortress or walking home from it do. A Migrate Scroll move is stricter: it also counts every parked army, such as gatherers and Fortress troops, and ignores only troops you sent to a guildmate’s castle or Garrison Tent. Recall the troops, wait until they are home, then migrate. See Rules for migrating.
Can I teleport while attacking or while being attacked?
Section titled “Can I teleport while attacking or while being attacked?”While you attack, no. Marches of your own that are out or coming home, and a rally you started, block any move.
While you are attacked, yes. An enemy march on its way to you does not block your move, but it does not miss: it lands at your castle’s new spot straight away. Scouts and aid on their way to you are recalled. After you attack, scout or join a rally, a Fury timer also blocks migrating to another kingdom, but not Transportation. See Rules for migrating.
Can one scroll move my whole guild at once?
Section titled “Can one scroll move my whole guild at once?”No. Transportation, Random Relocate and Migrate Scroll each move only the castle of the lord who uses them. Every guildmate uses their own item and picks their own spot. See Move inside your kingdom.
How long does moving to another kingdom take?
Section titled “How long does moving to another kingdom take?”No time at all. When the game accepts your Migrate, your castle is already in the new kingdom: there is no march, timer or waiting period, and no cooldown between moves. The scrolls are taken only after the move succeeds. After you arrive, the Agora trade lock applies. See Move to another kingdom.
Where can I get Migrate Scrolls?
Section titled “Where can I get Migrate Scrolls?”Buy them in the store: My Bag has a Guild Coin Mall tab. On 2026-10-09 a Migrate Scroll cost 18,000 Guild Coin there. It was also on sale for 1,500 Gems in the Gem Mall and for 1,500 AURO in the AURO Mall. If the game shows “AURO payments have ended”, pay with Gems or Guild Coin instead.
Guild Coin comes from helping guildmates, up to a daily cap that resets at 00:00 UTC. Prices can change. New lords migrate free in their first 3 days. See Where do I get Migrate Scrolls?.
Why can’t I attack or gather after migrating?
Section titled “Why can’t I attack or gather after migrating?”First check which kingdom the map shows. If it says “You are in the Kingdom of …”, you are only previewing: Gather, Attack and Scout are greyed out, so tap Exit.
After you arrive, read the message the game gives.
- “Finish graduation before starting another map action.” means a zone move is pending.
- “Region rules couldn’t be loaded. Military actions remain unavailable until the rules refresh.” means wait a minute and reopen the map.
- “This action is blocked because the castles are in different development regions.” means the target is in another zone.
If a message stays after you reopen the game, open a ticket with the message, the kingdom, the time and a screenshot. See Development Zones.
Why are there strong players in a new kingdom?
Section titled “Why are there strong players in a new kingdom?”Only Kyoto has a new-kingdom lock, and it checks a lord only at the moment they migrate in: for the first 60 days they must have less Might than everyone in Kyoto’s top 10 at that time. After they arrive they keep growing, and so does the top 10. A lord who was weaker then can be far stronger later. Other kingdoms have no such lock. See Rules for migrating.
Why was my castle moved away from my guild?
Section titled “Why was my castle moved away from my guild?”The game moves a castle by itself only in a few cases, and it always mails you the new coordinates: a graduation to the next Development Zone after your Highest Might passed your region’s limit (kingdoms with zones only), leaving the guild while your castle stood inside its Stronghold zone or the Stronghold growing over it, a castle burned inside a Fortress no-shield ring, or coming back after a long absence.
The new spot can be far from your guild. To get back, use Transportation to a free spot next to your guildmates inside your own region. Graduation is one-way, so you cannot move down to a lower zone. See If your castle is not on the map and Graduation.
Can Fortresses or regions be moved or merged?
Section titled “Can Fortresses or regions be moved or merged?”No. Players cannot move a Fortress or the Royal Citadel, and nothing in the game merges regions. Fortress spots are set by the game team, and players move only their own castles. See Fortress and Can a Stronghold be moved, or regions be merged?.
How do zone rules work in Kyoto?
Section titled “How do zone rules work in Kyoto?”Kyoto has no Development Zones. There is no New Settlement, Growth Province, Borderlands or War City split and no zone outlines, so the normal map rules apply. Moving to Kyoto takes you out of your zone. Kyoto has a new-kingdom lock: for its first 60 days, only lords with less Might than everyone in Kyoto’s top 10 can migrate in. Free migration does not skip this lock. See Development Zones and Rules for migrating.
Is there a new map or kingdom?
Section titled “Is there a new map or kingdom?”Kyoto is the newest kingdom. It opened in September 2026. We have no other new kingdom or date to announce. To visit a kingdom, tap the globe button and use Select Kingdom. See Move to another kingdom.
Monsters
Section titled “Monsters”Where are monsters on the map, and how many are there?
Section titled “Where are monsters on the map, and how many are there?”Monster hunting is not open in the game right now, so no monsters are on the map. That also means there is no Hunting Zone in War City or anywhere else, and dark nests are closed too. You cannot request more monsters, and we have no start date to share. See Gathering for what you can do on the map today.
Map display
Section titled “Map display”Why is my world map blank or white?
Section titled “Why is my world map blank or white?”If the map shows “Map can’t start”, your device or app blocked 3D graphics. Close other tabs or apps, restart the game, then tap Try again. If the map stays white without that message, close the game fully and open it again. Still white? Open a ticket with a screenshot, your device and the time.
What do the green, blue and gold lines on the map mean?
Section titled “What do the green, blue and gold lines on the map mean?”They are Development Zone borders. New Settlement is a green dashed line, Growth Province a blue dashed line, Borderlands an orange line and War City a gold line. Each zone also shows its name and a numeral from I to IV. Zone borders have no fill, so a coloured area is scenery, not a zone. A colour never blocks a march by itself; the zone rules do. Kyoto has no zone lines. See Development Zones.
Is the map refreshed or reshuffled?
Section titled “Is the map refreshed or reshuffled?”Resource tiles are topped up about every 5 minutes, and a free tile nobody gathered from for 6 hours disappears. The game does not move castles around on a timer. A castle moves only when you move it, or when the game moves it: a graduation to the next zone, leaving a Stronghold, or a long absence. See Gathering and If your castle is not on the map.
Can I search the map for players to attack?
Section titled “Can I search the map for players to attack?”No. The magnifier (Search for location) takes an address or coordinates like X:101.22 Y:1.33, not a player name, and the game has no list of players to attack. Zoom and pan the map and tap a castle. Scout shows its army, traps and resources. We cannot promise new features.
How do I scout a bounty castle?
Section titled “How do I scout a bounty castle?”Tap the castle on the map, then tap Scout, as for any castle. A castle in Bounty Mode shows a Bounty target card with Can steal, Protected and Estimated loot. Until you scout, the loot reads “Scout to estimate”. See War Chest.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”If a message here keeps coming back, or your castle, resources or armies look wrong after the steps above, open a ticket from Setting → More → Support with a screenshot, the time and the message. Support cannot promise a result in advance. See Contact support.
