Tutorial stuck? Fixes for common problems

Quick answer: for most tutorial problems, close the game and open it again first: the game restores your tutorial progress from the server when you come back. If it still does not move, find your problem below, and open a ticket if the fix does not work (see the end of this page).

Nothing appears after setup, or I am stuck on the Welcome step

The tutorial cannot start until setup is finished. Check each of these:

• You turned your phone sideways. Upright phones stop at Rotate your phone.
• You have a starter pack. Without one the game shows Choose Your Starter Pack instead of your castle. See From first launch to your castle.
• The first-time download has finished. Look for the “Downloading assets …%” badge.
• On a phone browser, the game may only show install steps. See Install the app.

Then close and reopen the game. If Elara’s Welcome message appears, tap to continue.

I have no referral code

On the web you cannot skip the referral step. Ask a friend who plays for their code, or use the links under the box (“Grab one from our X or hop into our Telegram community”). Details: From first launch to your castle. In the Telegram Mini App you are not asked for a code.

Telegram: stuck on Welcome, or spinning after I chose a language

• Close the Mini App completely and open it again from Telegram. This also clears the spinner, which can stay forever if one request in setup fails.
• Hold the phone sideways. Upright phones show Rotate your phone and the tutorial will not respond.
• If Welcome still does not move after you reopen it, open a ticket and say you are on Telegram.

I built the Farm but the lesson does not move on

In the Farm lesson, the Tap to continue is held back until the Construct tap has really built the Farm.

1. Close the building window and look at your plots to confirm the Farm is there.
2. Close and reopen the game. When you come back, the game sees your Farm and moves the lesson on.
3. Or open Chapters (Elara’s portrait). The game’s hint: “If your Farm is already built, return to Chapters to check your progress.”

If the Farm is built and the lesson is still stuck after you reopen the game, open a ticket. Include your player ID.

Intro training does not finish

The “Train your first squad” step only counts the starter squad that the guide pre-selects in the Barracks. Training other troops by hand does not complete this step.

1. Open the Barracks, keep the pre-selected troop, and tap the highlighted train button once.
2. Close and reopen the game. The game checks whether your starter squad was trained and moves on.
3. Still stuck? Open a ticket. You can also skip the introduction to keep playing, but see what you lose by skipping.

The arrow points at something I cannot see (recovery panel)

If the next thing to tap does not show up within 5 seconds, a panel appears at the bottom of the screen: “The next control is not available here yet. Try again, or return to Chapters to choose your next goal.” It has these buttons:

• Try again: reloads your progress and moves the camera back to the target. Use this first. If the panel says “Your guide progress could not be saved. Try again to continue; you do not need to repeat the action.”, Try again sends the step again.
• Return to Chapters: opens your chapter list so you can pick a goal and tap Go.
• Skip the introduction (in the first chapter) or Skip this chapter (in every other chapter): ends the lessons for this chapter. See below.

In those steps the game waits for you to tap the Castle or Barracks itself in your city. There is no 5-second panel there, so look for the glowing arrow and tap the building.

If you cannot finish Heal in the Infirmary, you may be short on resources. The lesson says to use your resource bags or come back later.

I have an older account and the tutorial is missing or starts late

That is by design. An account created before the new tutorial launched is placed by its progress. With 3,000 Might or more it gets no tutorial and every button is unlocked. Below that it starts at the first chapter its Castle level and army history do not cover. See Who gets the tutorial.

What you lose by skipping

You can skip from the guide message (“Skip the introduction” or “Skip this chapter”) or from the recovery panel. The game asks you to confirm.

• Skip the introduction. The game says “You keep the rewards you have already claimed.” The introduction reward (2,000 each of Food, Wood, Stone and Ore) is paid when you finish the last intro step, so if you skip, you do not get it, and you cannot claim it later.
• Skip this chapter (any later chapter). The game says “You can still finish its goals and claim its reward in Chapters.” Skipping only skips the lessons. Goals do not complete by themselves, so build, train, research, join and fight as the goals say.
• After you skip, Elara stops guiding you. Open her portrait or Settings → Guide Center to see what is left.

A chapter goal will not complete

Open Elara’s portrait → Chapters and read the progress next to the goal. Reopen the game if the number looks wrong: it is updated from your real progress when you come back.

• Claim 3 quest rewards: open Quests, then Exclusive Quests, and use Claim. Rewards only count after the claim succeeds.
• Join a guild: an application is not membership. Wait for the guild to approve it, or join an open guild.
• Win your first battle: the free practice battle on the World Map. A real-player attack is not needed. If auto-select picks no troops, train some first.
• Start one transformation: see the next section.

Chapter 6 teaches army expansion, but my goal says Ethereon

That is how it is meant to work. The lesson tells you to build more Barracks and Infirmaries on empty military plots. The chapter goal is separate: open the Ethereon Tower, start one transformation, check the cost and tap Convert. If the Ethereon Tower is not in your menus yet, you have not reached chapter 6 (the Tower is unlocked there).

The guide message covers the button I need to tap

The guide card moves itself out of the way. It sits below the control you have to tap, above it, or beside it, whichever has room. On a small screen with long text, the card gets its own scroll bar: scroll inside the card instead of tapping through it.

If an old version of the game still covers a button, open Setting → More → Game version and tap Check for update, then try again. If the same step is still blocked, use the recovery panel above or open a ticket.

I cannot find a button (Map, Wallet, Store, Guilds…)

While the tutorial is running, some buttons stay hidden until the chapter that unlocks them. The list is on Tutorial steps, chapters and rewards. Finish or skip the chapters and they show up.

If something goes wrong: open a ticket

Open a ticket from Setting → More → Support if you reopened the game and the same step is still stuck. Include:

• Your player ID (shown in your profile).
• Whether you play on the web, an installed phone app, or Telegram.
• The chapter and step you are on, for example “Chapter 3 of 6” and the message on screen.
• A screenshot of the stuck screen.

Contact support lists the exact steps. Support cannot promise a fix time or a reward, but a clear ticket gets looked at faster.
